Psychic Academy (2005) (DVD+Manga Bundle)

This series based on the popular manga by Katsu Aki takes place, as the title suggests, in a futuristic high school for children endowed with heightened mental powers. Ai Shiomi is the new kid, whose psychic abilities have only recently been discovered, and about which he is highly insecure. He doubts his right to attend the school, and his uncertainty is heightened by the presence of his famous older brother Zero, a teacher at the Academy who once defeated the Dark Lord and saved the world from immanent destruction (he now holds the title "The Man Who Stopped the Evil Lord.") The one reason that Ai is excited to attend the Academy is his childhood sweetheart, Orina, who also attends. But once installed in the halls of psychic academia, Ai encounters Miu, a beautiful, shy, intense girl who captures his imagination. In fact, all of the girls who attend the Psychic Academy are extremely well-endowed and are required to wear incredibly revealing uniforms. However, the show itself is a sensitive portrayal of a love triangle, with interesting, complex characters and intriguing plotlines.
