The raucous alternative rock foursome the Prom Kings features Chris Carney (vocals), Joey Hollearn (guitar), Mauricio Brandao (bass), and Luke Pickerill. The Los Angelesbased band has toured with the likes of Papa Roach, Sum 41, Unwritten Law, and 3 Doors Down since forming in 2001. Their catchy funkpop blend caught the attention of SoCal local imprint Three Kings within months, and the Prom Kings began working on their debut album. Their first single, "Alone," was issued in spring 2005, and a studio fulllength album followed in latesummer.
