    A largely unknown MASTERPIECE!!!!!!

    Tommy Bolin was one of the unsung "guitar gods" of the 70s before his untimely death in 1976. This release would have surely served as a springboard for widespread acclaim had he lived. Every track is fabulous. I was turned on to Tommy in college in... the late 70s, and I still marvel at the power of "Post Toastee". Norma Jean Bell's saxaphone is top-notch throughout. The almost-precognitive "Sweet Burgundy" has the BEST blending of sax/piano/guitar that I have EVER heard, with Tommy's guitar notes during the ending sounding unlike anything I've heard before or since.
