Biography

Val Young

Vocalist Val Young was formerly in George Clinton's Brides of Funkenstein and also did background vocals for the Gap Band and Roy Ayers. She became a solo vocalist after meeting Rick James, and James got her signed to Motown. They worked together on the LP Seduction in 1985.
