Pros: awesome levels, good controls, great new combat system, good puzzles

I'm kinda blown away by Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. I played Sands of Time, but I thought the fighting was a little weak.Well, the combat system is so much better than SoT. They've redesigned it, and it's much more sophisticated, th...ere are a ton of new moves you can do with the new "free-form fighting system".It may take you a little while to master the combat controls, but it's well worth the time spent. Puzzles and platforming, the bread-and-butter of the Prince of Persia series, is still present, and is challenging.I like just about everything about this game. Great game, great fun. Read more Less

Pros: fighting system, graphics.
Cons: the end.
the best thing about a game is gameplay. i hear critics complaining that this game is too dark.???. this game is excellent in all areas. the puzzles can be really challenging. theyve added a ton of new enemies compared to the sands of time. the fight...ing system is really good. you can see heads flying of the enemies neck. and guess what, you can still control time. so many improvements, but still all the good stuff from the last game. the only thing that WW doesnt have from SOT is the same story. you are gonna die. you have to escape death because you opened the sands of time. that is a good story. get this game. you wont be diddapointed it. especially if you played the first one. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within's new tone isn't really the direction we were hoping they'd take the series, but the action is intense and the new combat system is pretty cool. Still, a downgrade in the look and sound combined with increasingly annoying platforming and camera issues get in the way of this warrior's ultimate victory. Read more
