Bravo II is Primera's newest and most advanced "all-in-one" disc publishing system. It combines fast, automated robotic CD/DVD duplication along with full-color, 4800 dpi direct-to-disc printing - all in one compact, desktop unit.

Bravo II is ideal for producing either one at a time, unique discs or jobs of up to 50 discs at a time. Models include both Windows-based PC and Mac duplication software.

Bravo II is the easiest to use and most advanced CD/DVD publishing system ever. With its built-in burn and print capabilities, it produces up to 50 discs at a time. Best of all, the entire process is automatic. Simply specify the files you wish to burn and print, select how many discs you'd like, and press "Go!" from your Windows PC or Mac.

For DVD±Rs, choose the Bravo II DVD Publisher. This model is dual-purpose. It produces both CD-Rs and DVD±Rs in the same drive. Bravo II incorporates the very latest, state-of-the-art recordable DVD drives.

Bravo II incorporates stunning, full-color printing at up to 4800 dpi - the best in the industry. You'll be able to produce discs that look as professional as any you've ever seen using high-resolution text, graphics and even photos. Printing times are fast. It took just 54 seconds to print the disc shown here at 600 x 600 dpi resolution.

With Bravo II, you'll also benefit from Primera's new patent-pending AccuDisc Technology.

This suite of hardware and firmware enhancements provides the most accurate and precise disc picking available today. Utilizing advanced LED optics instead of mechanical components, AccuDisc eliminates misalignment of the picking mechanism. It also prevents the feeding of double discs into the recordable drive - a common problem with other picking systems.

Bravo II produces not only standard 120mm discs, but also several of the popular business card shaped and mini CD/DVD formats. An optional media adapter kit is required.

Bravo II can burn and print up to 50 discs per job with the included Kiosk Mode Kit. In Kiosk Mode, finished discs are dispensed out the center of the machine.

    Beware of Primera Bravo

By Yahoo! Shopping User  May 13, 2004 | 3 out of 3 found this Primera Bravo II Disc Publisher review helpful

Pros: When it works it is useful.

Cons: Primera does not stand behind their products.

I have had a unit for about a year. It has always dropped disks, and has had poor software from day one. But that is not the bad part of owning one of these units. As a matter of fact, if those were the only problems I might recommend the unit. B...e aware of Primera policies and quality issues. 59$ shipping to send a unit in for repair. 100$ per hour repair fee. The units have mechanical issues due to low quality components and after about a year, will need to be sent in for repair, YOU Pay. They bill you what they want, and if you do not pay quickly they sell your unit and return the difference less 500$ admin fee. If you get a unit fixed it will be gone around two weeks, but there are no defined time periods. Tech support has never responded to any of my emails, even ones that only ask how to get a unit repaired. Based on quality and price, I print my labels on my Magicolor 7300 laser printer, and stick them on. It is approx 60 times faster and they are not smeared. I would not recommend this product or company to anyone. Read more Less

    Pros: Complete CD solution

    Cons: It's haunted

Ive made 8,000 plus CDs with this thing. When it's up and running It's pretty amazing. Problem is is that the dang thing has a mind of it's own. What I mean is that it has errors galore but not due to any particular reason that you are a...ccustomed to when dealing with hardware/software. It has a different problem almost every time. Weird. Sometimes it will drop discs. Sometimes it will fail to pick them up. Sometimes it will load a disc into the drive tray when there is one still in it. Sometimes it will make a grinding sound. Sometimes it will etc. etc...... Try re installing the software? LOL, yeah, about 5 times. Try reformatting your hard drive? Done that. Download updates and patches? Done that. Try running the unit with no other programs running simultanously? Been there. Spend hours using their online trouble shooting database? Yep. Emails out the wazoo to tech support? Yes, ad nausiam. Send the unit back for repairs and test runs? Just twice. Things were pretty decent for about a year and then for the next year its been pretty much hell. This thing is going to ebay. I feel for the poor sod that gets this thing next. Kinda reminds me of that episode of the twighlight zone where some guy buys a magic little box at an oriental curio shop where ever who has possession of the box has nothing but nightmarish things happen to them. Getcha some. Read more Less

    Burn DVDs by the Dozen

Handy small-office disc duplicator skimps on the software. The Windows version of Bravo II that I tested (Mac software is also available) ships with MicroVision Development's SureThing Disc Labeler LE and Sonic's PrimoDVD 2 for mastering. The programs are effective, but lacking in advanced features. PrimoDVD imports SureThing labels and has dedicated features for the Bravo II's robotics, and will burn a DVD movie from an image file or as a data job if formatted properly. SureThing Disc Labeler LE is a limited version that does not create jewel-case inserts and offers very little artwork. Read more
