    Pretty on the inside really is a punk angry rock album that also throws in meaningful lyrics.My favourite songs being "Babydoll",&quo

    Pretty on the inside, or POTI fans like to abbreviate it, is a very good punk album. The cd cover art is excellent. On the cover, as you can see, it pale Hole members on a pinkbackround. On the back cover, a very strange painting of a girl with a m...irror by Jill Emery. Read more Less

    With the assistance of producers Kim Gordon and Don Fleming, Hole records a brutally uncompromising debut with Pretty on the Inside. The jagged white noise and buzzing guitars articulate Courtney Love's pentup rage as well as her lyrics, and while that might make the album difficult to absorb in one sitting, it also makes it a singular achievement.
