I dug it too! I couldn't believe that the album was good but you know he paid for those lyrics.

Pros: originallity for an rap artist
Cons: few too many duets
press play is a refreshing new album by rap star sean "diddy" combs. a great comeback album for the struggling artist,press play brings diddy to a level that he had not reached before as a performer. the music is very different than that of your usual rapper and that is what makes it special and fun to listen to.

The album is hot.....Diddy is branded by perfection, from his style and grace to symphomatic lyrics. He is what alot a young men should emulate. He has made a overwhelming difference in hip-hop, from the the early days of Biggie now to the new commer Young Joc. Diddy is coming back hotter than ever with this flaming CD...

I have never really cared for Diddy's style of music. I have thought that his music was weak and that he lacked creativity. I believe that this endeavor proved me wrong.
The lyrics come from a place of actual depth. He put the public aside and forgot about all the gimmicky lyrics and just plain did his thing.
It's about time. Will it sell as well? When you bombard the public with show and no substance long enough, people begin to distrust your music. Diddy is beginning to see that rap is an art that can produce masters, not just sellers.

Pros: I like the guests singer he has on there.
Cons: He cannot rap no better than Kevin Federline
The CD is o.k., because of the star guests he has on there including; Keisha Cole, Christina Aguilera; Brandy, Mary J. Blige and Nicole Scheringer. He cannot rap at all, I don't know who's worst, him or K-Fed.
