It would be hard to imagine a genre that would date itself worst than 80s French easy listening, and this album is a sharp reminder of that. With subpar production, terrible keyboards, and awful songs, this is an incredibly entertaining disaster. At the time this was probably pretty normal, even by American standards. But no one in their right mind makes music like the fistpumping pop of "Respire" or the sohappyithurts "Melissa." Shockingly enough, some of these songs actually hold up; witness "Lili Voulait Aller Danser" and marvel at how it still sounds decent. Actually, this album does deserve credit for not being too awful to listen to, it has a certain charm and goofiness that is infectious. But the music is absolute night soil, just know that before listening and this is a harmless album perfectly suited for a good laugh.
