The only thing stopping me from giving this fim top marks is the technical quality of the finished product (watch carefully as Carl Weathers loses his arm- or rather gains a very obvious prosthetic while his real one is still visible!). All sadi and... done however, the true testimoney to this films ingenuity is taking the physicaly toughest looking movie hero of our age and pitting him and his toughest friends against an alien being who could out armwrestle all of them at once and watching their over-technology dependant strategies fall apart. Now our hero must go back to first principles and use the one thing that makes us superior to the beasts of our world- his brain- as the role of hunter and hunted skips back and forth time and again.
