New York Citybased neogrunge band Pray for the Soul of Betty formed in 2003Brazilianborn guitarist João Joya previously teamed with drummer Michael Hambroussi in the littleknown Cohiba, with bassist Taylor C.R. (Hambroussi's colleague in another shortlived act, Clyde) completing the founding lineup.
