    Almighty Are Way Ahead Of The Rest!

    The Almighty become the heavier Alice In Chains. Well, sortof.With powerful heavy drums and anthemic songs like Powertrippin' and Addiction they've found a place among fans of Alice In Chains I suppose.But some of the greats like Jesus Loves You...B...ut I Don't, Takin' Hold, and Meathook should not be overlooked. Some excellent heavy stuff here!Once again I have to compliment Ricky Warwick's amazing voice!While I don't like this CD as much as their others, it is still way above the crowd! Read more Less

    If there's such a thing as mainstream heavy metal, this is it. It's not as relentless as some, not as melodic as others. The powerful drums, constant guitar riffing and chanted vocals all mark it for the genre, but it never escapes the generic.
