Portable derives their catchy rock sound from the likes of Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam, and the Smashing Pumpkins with the melodic flare of Fuel and Collective Soul. Together, Chance (vocals), Gus Ciceri (guitar), Brian Levy (drums), and Jeff Menke (bass) recorded their debut album Secret Life in Supertramp's old studio digs, Media Vortex, in Burbank, CA.
