Porta-Brace SMG-2 Camcorder Case

The SMUGGLER CAMERA CASE is designed to be used in the field as well as for hand carrying your camera during air travel. It is rigid and well padded for maximum protection. The case compresses and will fit most airline overhead compartments or under the seat. When arriving on location the case transforms into a fully functional in-the-field camera case. The Smuggler satisfies airline size requirements by allowing you to partially dismantle your camera for travel. (This is usually limited to removing viewfinder, mic, and sometimes brick battery, and lens shade. Soft padded fleece lined bags are provided to add individual protection for packing dismantled components. A unique shelf is included to create useable space over the lens to house the dismantled viewfinder and/or battery. If it is necessary to remove the lens, the shelf turns on it's side and velcros to help keep the camera and lens safely separated. Viewfinder protector and back of the Smuggler compress flat while a "travel cover" wraps the case tightly for snag free shipping.
