Poodle Hat is Quite the Ride!!
Pros: Everything!
Cons: NOTHING
Alot of people have been complaining that this album is "gross, low, and not a good one." IGNORE ALL THAT! Some parts, were more disgusting then Weird Al has ever gone, but is that a bad thing? Not in the slightest. Being an Avril Lavigne fan, I was very excited for "A Complicated Song" and being a hater of rap, was very fun to hear "Couch Potato" and "Trash Day," and Al sure does talk fast in Hardware Store!! Party at the Leper Colony was full of body jokes that were a hillarious add-in, his annual polka one of his best, and Genious in France a GREAT ending to this terrific album! Not one song on this was bad at all. CLICK BUY NOW!!

Al's done it again! Another album from the comedic genius is out and hang on to your seats cuz this one's a good'n!

While I must say this is a good album, due to the lack of "good" music out there for Al to make parodies of, this album really ends up lacking. This pretty much reaches the level of his last "Running with siscors" album. If the album after this doesn't turn out good, then it will show that "Bad hair day" was his peak, and that Al should just pack it up and retire. Jimmy Fallon is pretty much taking over Al's job.
I do Love you Al, nothing personal. But honestly man, it's not your fault, it's just that mainstream top 40 music really does suck, and there's nothing worth making fun of.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoTo the Inbreads at Microsoft
I'd like to know why the Windows Media Player album info for Al's new album only scored 2 Stars?!
It is an excellent album and, judgeing by the user reviews, everyone likes it!
What's worse is that the Windows Media 'Review' doesn't even explain why is got two stars. The review just simply says that it got two stars!

He never disappoints. If you ever used or know someone who uses Ebay, you'll love the song. It was my personal favorite. You can always use an Alf alarm clock or a Dukes of Hazard ashtray. A++

This album is really...well...it's subpar. This is NOT his best work, by far.
It's actually mean in spots, really tasteless in others, and overall just seems like one heck of a let down.
"Running With Scissors"? Excellent.
"Bad Hair Day"? Incredible.
This? Well...does "festering ball of dog snot" mean anything to you? And no...just because I took that quote from VHF doesn't mean I like this album. It was just the closest slam available to me at the time. Not worth your money. Pass on by.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoIt's awesome

People may think that "Weird Al" Yankovic may be getting rusty now that he is on his 11th studio album, but that is not the case. Poodle Hat, the best Weird Al CD after Running With Scissors, features some of the best originals yet known to man. Plus, where else, not counting country music, can you find songs about finding out that your girlfriend is your cousin ("How was I supposed to know we were both related?"). That is to the tune of Avril Lavigne's Complicated. And, when Al is not too busy parodying new hits, such as Hot In Herre and Lose Yourself, he takes the time to write a classic rock parody, Ode To A Superhero. On it, Al sings about spiderman to the tune of Piano Man by Billy Joel. And if none of that excites you, buy the album to hear the song Wanna B Ur Lovr and hear all of Al's pick up lines (Girl you must be Jamaican/Because Jamaican me crazy!)

He has an alright voice and some talent, but still not that great. Its sad he makes copies of other peoples work just to sell albums, but, its good when he finally makes fun of someone who needs it *cough* Eminem.

Yet another example of Al's abundant talent and musical abilities. Genius in France, although seeming a bit disjointed at first, really grows on you. My favorite cut is Hardware Store. It will take me weeks, but I will learn the words and be able to sing them!

Poodle Hat is an awesome cd and i think everyone on earth shall have it! this cd has hilarious song and wonderful lyrics!! So....what are you waiting for...GO BUY IT!

My son(11 years old)is a huge fan of Weird Al's. We even had to buy an accordian!! I love this CD because of the lyrics. I don't have to worry about the language at all. And with the music today, that is a huge concern of mine. Can't wait for the concert in July!!
