In this follow-up to Hey You, Pikachu on Nintendo 64, players must help lovable Pikachu find a series of missing television clips and bring them back to the local station for broadcast. The game offers a 3D world filled with beaches, mountains, and forests to explore with the friendly yellow Pokémon. Players can meet other Pokémon during their journey, coax Pikachu into performing certain actions by offering advice, and more. By finding all of the television clips, players can access various Pokémon-themed programs, including one starring the Pichu Bros. Switching channels lets players participate in a quiz show, shopping program, and other interactive episodes. Pokémon Channel also features a number of side activities, including an option to color different television scenes using a paint tool. Once players have finished their creation, they can have it displayed in Smeargle's art gallery for posterity. Another activity has players collecting 3D cards so they can access a special version of Pokémon Mini. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide

    Pokemon Channel!

Pros: alot of things to do, it's not only about watching TV

Cons: only 3 areas to travel in (not including the backyard or Springleaf Field), 7 of the channels are of Pichu Bros

I have liked this game alot, and even better than Animal Crossing! I have tried this before it anyways. Like Animal Crossing, this also has a real time clock, but you don't have to worry about anything going wrong on this like on Animal Crossing ...(look at my Animal Crossing review for info on that). Anyways, yes, you watch TV, but that's not the only thing you can do. You can also explore 3 different places by bus (Viridian, Mt.Snowfall, Cobalt), plant berries, fish, play tic-tac-toe with Pikachu on Cobalt, collect 101 different cards called "Nice Cards" (by the way, those cards are REAL, you can actually buy those cards in real life but only on Japanese sites), play the Odd One Out and Quiz Wobbufet on the TV, a virtual Pokemon Mini, color pictures, and also customization of your room in the Pokemon world! For fans of Pokemon, I recommend this, and for people who are new to Pokemon! I have this game, and its one of my favorites next to Pokemon XD and Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4! Read more Less
