    Overall a good game

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 8, 2007

Pros: This has a chance for you to get Lugia who cares what color ,plus the link-ups with the game boys are cool. They also redid every attack in the game too.

Cons: Its he same old stuff but if you are a hardcore Pokemon fan it's pretty good.

That wraps it up can't wait to see the new one for the Wii

Another time to snag the Shadow Pokemon!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 29, 2006

Pros: More shadow Pokemon and regular wild ones too!, plus a quick 2-player battle with controllers, and 2 new events

Cons: Purifying Dark Lugia just makes it an old regular Lugia, still no way of choosing your Pokemon for 2-players without a GBA

This is a sequel to Colosseum, and there were lots of changes from Colosseum that were on this one, graphics, more Pokemon to snag as shadow Pokemon, and also, Pokespots! Pokespots had a selection of wild Pokemon that appear such as Sandshrew, Zubat,... Aron, and many others. Plus new features like the Battle Bingo and Battle CDs. Also, the quick battle has a 2 player section now, meaning using CONTROLLERS,also you can use legendaries if you pick Ultimate mode, but still, it would be nice to choose your Pokemon like the Stadium games without the use of a GBA and a GBA Pokemon RPG. Also another flaw, is about Dark Lugia, if you already gotten Lugia off FR/LG or with an AR, it's not neccessary to purify it, because if you do, it will just be a regular Lugia, it's Dark version will be erased for good. Other than those flaws, Pokemon XD is one good game to get your hands on. I recommend it. Read more Less

Pros: Like the other one this one has a lot more graphic changes in it

Cons: Each shadow pokemon can only be caught once so if you trade it it's gone

The game has a lot more improvements, but has partialy the same storyline. Plus you can trade many other systems to gather a lot more. The attack graphics are a lot more realistic. Otherwise everything else is really cool

    Pokémon XP

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 9, 2005

Pros: Pokémon are as cute as ever.

    Cons: 'Tis a bit 'samey'.

I'm not gonna bother writing a whole review. I'm just gonna say this: It's alright, but if you played previous Pokémon 3D titles, then it's really not worth the money. It's pretty mcuh the same as before, only with a different ti...tle and different characters. There's just not a single change to the gameply here. No significant one, anyway. Read more Less

    really good game!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 9, 2005

Pros: kool graphics on pokemon attacks, a longer storyline then colloseum, kool new purification system, more legendary pokemon to catch plus all new shadow attacks, can catch pokemon in wild, not much of a load screen

Cons: if u miss catching a shadow pokemon in most cases u won't have a chance to get it again

wow i have to say this wuz an awesome game!i never liked pokemon until i played colloseum. and this is 1 is like a billion times better. the new graphics on attacks particularly the ones with fire or water looked really kool.u also have the option of... choosing which pokemon ur eevee turns into unlike the last game(eevee can turn into 5 pokemon). also now it seems like pokemon are easier to catch like in the last game i barely caught any of them and it seemed unfair. in this won if gives u more of a chance to catch when they have really low hit points. also the storyline if you played colloseum is soo much longer in this game it took me like a few weekz to beat when i played it on-and-off. like an hour or 2 everyday.so thnk about that and it probly 35-50 hours of gameplay. and even after u beat it u can still go everywhere n keep training to play in tournaments and stuff.also now u can go to catch wild pokemon at low levels from 9-23 about in 3 different places i thought that was pretty kool. about the load screen thing all u c is a 2 second thing of the hero riding his scooter into that town or area. some things i didnt like were u cant go back and catch some pokemon that u accidentally killed(they say K.O.ed) and unlike in the stadium gamez for N64 u cant have a free battle and select your pokemon from all of them it setz a random team for you. i really dont like that in the colloseum and XD. but besides that everything is awesome sooo definitely buy this game. i think any1 who normally playz pokemon and those who dont will enjoy it after they start to play it. but one thing make sure they can read cuz it getz annoying if little kids ask u to read everything for them before they press it. so i reccomend it for anybody in 3rd grade(8 yeas old) or above. also i forgot about the purification system thats sumthing u probly wont understand until u get the game but i'll try. in ur computer on the game where u hold ur pokemon ur not using(u can only have 6 at once) shadow pokemon that need to be purified can now be healed with this system. u stick the shadow/evil pokemon in the middle of a circle with 4 pokemon(they have to be not shadow) around it. u can use only 1 but it goes faster with 4. also u get it going faster when u put pokemon with types that hurt the next one along the chart on. for example: if u sit a water pokemon behind the fire pokemon and that behind a grass pokemon which beats the water then u will purify alot faster then a non type orriented system ok. thast confusing unless u've played pokemon before so ignore that and now my review is done. buy this game!
