New York City's Plushgun was originally formed as a solo project for multiinstrumentalist Dan Ingala, but with the online success of his first single "Just Impolite," Ingala decided that the only way to pull off his signature bedroomcrafted, nostalgic, synthheavy dance rock live was to expand the group's membership, so he recruited guitarist Taylor Armstrong, drummer Pearson Constantino and bass player Sam Kim for the band's 2007 incarnation.
