I have never had a problem with my playstation 2 and i love playstation 2 because about every game that comes out always comes out on ps2. PS2 ROX!!!!!!

Pros: great while it worked
Cons: console stopped reading discs after a few months
My PS2 played by a 6 year old on a strict time limit for games stopped reading discs after only a few months. This console was barely used!
I took it to be repaired and the repairman said some major component was defective. Now because the repairman removed the warranty sticker when he popped the thing open, sony won't honor the warranty.
Apparently I'm not alone...search the web, you'll find many many folks whose PS2 stopped working after a few months.

Cons: the price for an antique, and the controler
The PS2 is an antique i cant believ anyone would pay 150 bucks for a peice of crap. the graphics suck, the controler sucks, and the loading time sucks. Plus Sony ditched Nintendo and stole the rights to make the playstation leaving nintendo to create a halfway worhtless peice of crap the n64. Sadly Nintendo still hasnt recovered from this.
