Play Misty for Me is my favorite Clint Eastwood movie. It's very suspenseful, has an excellent musical score, terrific performances (especially Jessica Walter as the psycho her performance is chilling) and beautiful cinematography. This one was the inspiration for Fatal Attraction, which was also a good thriller as well. A definite Clint Eastwood classic. ...

Play Misty for Me, Clint Eastwood's excellent directing debut, is a fabulous chiller(with, thankfully, no superhuman killer who rises from the dead at the climax). He also gives one of his best performances.
Jessica Walter & Donna Mills are also great in their respective roles as the psychopath & girlfriend.
It's easy to see why this masterpiece inspired such lame-ass thrillers as Fatal Attraction, Poison Ivy, Fear, The Crush, & The Hand That Rocks the Cradle. ...
