    What else could you say about such a brilliant. I have heard most people say it is just noise, but it is not. It is more then noise. It takes hardcore to the highest level. The vocals never do cease to awe me. And the music keeps the whole thing on ...track. By this cd. Read more Less

    A great, scary mixture of hard music.

    This album kicks off with three minutes of noise, and suddenly breaks into "A Good Feeling" with a quick scream of "This is only a test." That is one of the best introductions to one of the best hard music records that I've heard yet. Being the nint...h release on Tooth & Nail Records' sublabel, it surpasses any previous SolidState releases. Combining everything from hardcore/metal with added noise, to spooky, off-tune singing, Training for Utopia screams and plows through any signs of a beat, or of a slight melody by writing songs like "Human Shield" and "Two Hands". If you buy this in cd form, you get an added bonus if you get to the twenty-two minute mark of the last track. The result is a chilling gathering of noise and chaos. This is an overall excellent record if you are a big hardcore/metal fan. If you get the chance, buy it. And remember, this is only a test. Read more Less
