This remake was a good try at making the same story different creating a parallel universes where apes rule. So the ending was meant to show that he went to another parallel universe whether in the past or future really doesn't matter cause in back in the same problem as before. Trying to get home. The movie wasn't bad but the Original movie with Charles Heston was meant to show the possible future destruction of mankind on our earth and how apes came to evolve into power, and not some other planet. ...

It wa good but the ending was messted up!!! so what it but relize the ending is messted.
