    So much less complicated than so many of the overblown productions of today that it makes for fun and relaxing viewing. Extremely interesting to watch 30 years after first seeing the series air on network television, as an adult you have a totally di...fferent perspective of each episodes message. I still think the makeup and costumes are more interesting from the 60's and 70's than today. Read more Less

    this collection is a must for many apes fans,It has great stories plenty of action!Fun to watch.The series did beter in syndication then its friday night time slot when it first aired,the sci fi channel has shown the series in the early nineties and ...had good ratings.Ron Harper and James Naughten are very likeable astronaughts!Wish they had more episodes.This forgoten treasure was made possible on dvd when many fans wrote to FOX and called including myself.Its rarely on tv at all.Pick this up you,will be glad you did Read more Less
