Everything that I loved about this film is just because of one and only Captain Jack Sparrow. Johnny Depp is the one and only who made it perfect. He really carried out that Captain Jack Sparrow character remarkablely amazing. No one can do it. As Johnny Depp can do everything in acting. Edward Scissorhands, Willy Wonka, Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, Jack the Ripper, Mort Rainey and now Captain Jack Sparrow?. Just give it to him, Its just so easy for him, eventhough he didnt take it seriously[ I liked him since 10, Edward Scissorhands, I dont even know that's him that time, but I love his name so much, Johnny Depp, and I follow his movies all the time. When I heard Johnny Depp, that's it, I'll rush for that movie. And then, I found out his a, well, infinityly great actor, and I also then found out that Edward Scissorhands is actually my Johnny Depp, gosh I was soo Shocked. It make me even more freak to Johnny Depp. Im not a movie fan but a Johhny Depp's freak.]. He's just the real born actor coz he never thougt bout glamour at all. He took all this low budgeted movie but with very challenging roles. That's what he wants. To be an actor not to lead a glamour life. Especially Captain Jack, is not easy. Johnny Depp got to change his everything, his voice, his hand gestures, his style, his slang, his walk, his face and lips expression Well, everything bout Captain Jack Sparrow is soo hoot, as it is Johhny Depp: . I dont have to mention bout his face coz Johhny Depp's face is like flour, changes untill cant recognize. Well, I'll stop coz when I start to praise great Johnny Depp, I wont stop.
Well, Its just about Captain Jack Sparrow that is really reallllllllllllllllly hot and powerful, entertaining, ultimate satisfaction performane by my baby Johnny Depp, that made Pirates of the Caribbean as what it is now. Best Halloween costume of 2006 and 2007(very powerful), The best movie of the year everytime it came out, 2006 and 2007. Even Spiderman and Harry Potter cant challenge him. If Jack Sparrow coming out, then it's just a nightmare for any other film even spidermen or harry potter. i was extremely pleased with the movie. it was adventurous, funny, dramatic, etc.

i cried after seeing it for the first time on DVD, second including theatres.
so i went to the "bonus material"
what was there was great!!
.....but there was a little less bonus content than the DVDs of the 1st and 2nd movie. i mean there's not a DRASTIC difference at all because the features they have have are rather long and very fascinating
anyways -
buy it and you will not be displeased!!

Pros: Johnny Depp
Cons: Too LONG and CONFUSING.
Like Spider-Man 3, this is the worst in the Trilogy. Too long and the plot had way, way too many twists - one about every 20 minutes (you'd need to write down every twist and then graph it out to really understand what's going on). 30 minutes shorter and about a half a dozen less plot twists would've better.

Pros: There are some obviously outstanding special effects throughout the course of the movie.
Cons: While there are plenty of special effects, the number of crosses, double-crosses, and even triple-crosses are enough to need a program to know who's on which side.
Disney, Gore Verbinski, and Jerry Bruckheimer have robbed their audiences. They have proven who the real pirates are in the hugely successful "Pirates of The Caribbean" franchse. If there's one thing that Disney is known for, it's milking its big name movies by making sequels; sequels that, in most cases, are nowhere near as good as the originals. And they have done that yet again with Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End. The first "Pirates" movie was a standout movie. It was perfectly executed, and wrapped up just as well. It wrapped up so well that no audiences had reason to expect even one sequel. However, Disney, along with Director Gore Verbinski and Producer Jerry Bruckheimer raised the bar by making Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. The movie is almost as good as the original, ironcially, being that it is a sequel. But it does have a few lesser points.
And now, Verbinski and Bruckheimer have returned yet again with at least one more movie in the "Pirates" franchise. This movie, however, is nowhere near as good as the first two. Sadly, there are so many storylines in this movie taht it gets bogged down in itself; so much in fact that many audiences were left asking themselves what had happened in the nearly three-hour movie. There are so many twists and turns in all the crosses, double crosses, and even triple crosses that any audience would get dizzy.
Aside from maybe a couple of bonus features and the final fight scene in "The Maelstrom", there is little to boast about in the DVD. The only real worthwhile bonus features in the two-disc edition are in the production side. The two features in particular are within the "Masters of Design" feature section. They are "Sao Feng's Map" and "The Cursed Crew". There is a lesser, though, somewhat enjoyable bonus in the feature profiling famed Hollywood composer, Hans Zimmer. Zimmer has worked on all three of the "Pirates" movies, among many others in his career. This feature gives musicians from every background a small look into the mind of one of Hollywood's greatest musical minds.
In observing the remainder of the bonus features, and the entire movie, it is difficult to say that there is much else that keeps Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End afloat, even on DVD, which is sad if it is truly the end of the "Pirates" franchise. Maybe, just maybe, the ending, being left so open, will allow for a spinoff for Jack and Barbosa, if not the rest of the crew of the Black Pearl.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoWow

This movie is absolutely amazing. No one could have asked for a better third movie. Johnny Depp is fabulous as the famous Captain Jack Sparrow as well as Orlando Bloom as Will Turner. Great action sequences and music. Overall.....Perfect film!

The first movie was fantastic, the second one was tolerable, and the third movie was comparable to the second. The movie was way too long, and the plot line was too confusing. A big disappointment.

Pirates 3 is an amazing story about the continuation of will turners, barbosas, and elizabeth swanns search for jack sparrow in davy jones locker. They inquire the help of chinese pirates to get them there inorder to have all 9 pieces of 8 for the brethren court, where all the pirate lords meet. It all ends with an epic battle at worlds end.

I have to say this movie was absolutly great! The soundtrack was amazing! The actors were fabulous, and special effects were out of this world. You would think I would still be watching the movie now the way I first started this off. However, there were a few things I didn't like about this movie. In this movie you see a new side to Captian Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp). His role shows how crazy he really is. When they first show him in this movie, he is having a hallucination. I did not like the reveal to his madness. I liked it when there was no explanation to it.
Another part of the film I didn't like was how everyone had alterier motives contantly. People going against each other and who they are against just changed so much. It was hard to keep up with the story plot.
The ending battle's effects were great. I really enjoyed the movie musically and the picture itself. I just didn't like some of the story line. Yes, I did buy this movie. I enjoyed it enough for that, however it's not one to watch over and over.Was this review helpful? Yes - No
