    Pros: Good low bass, moves a good amount of air, compact

    Cons: Not a "pro-level" sub.... but still SWEET!

    I tossed this baby in the back of my extended cab Ranger ('02), and this baby kicks! I am using an MTX RT202 Road Thunder amp that is putting out something like 150 watts (RMS). I listen to all types of music and this thing works great for all of... it. Dr. Dre hits hard, Pantera rips, Bob Marley thumps. While this setup might not work for an in-the-trunk setup for a sedan... it will work wonders in your Blazer, Ranger, s-10, Explorer... or any other SUV or pick-up. People always know when I get to their house cause they can hear the bass from up the street. A friend recently said: "I love how your bass works better than my doorbell."So there you have it. Even with a relatively low wattage amp, and just an upgrade from a stock factory system I got good low end thump for about $230. (Pioneer TS-WX121- $130 and MTX RT202- $75... plus a RCA line level adaptor because the speaker-level inputs didn't engage the amp like it said... but that was MTX's fault.) Buy this sub and that amp for a nice bass upgrade! Read more Less
