Piero Mazzocchetti was born in Pescara, Italy, during March of 1978. He began seriously studying music early, starting with piano at the Conservatory of Pescara at age six. In his early teens, Piero took an interest in song, studying voice at the conservatory with master Mariateresa Giammarino (who had previously instructed prodigious talents such as Luciano Pavarotti).
