    Jewel is talented, but the type of music she plays, isn't my style, and her lyrics are kinda boring. I mostly listen to heavy metal such as Slayer, Motorhead, Anthrax, Sepultura, Motley Crue, Overkill, Testament, Metallica, Megadeth, and of cours...e Pantera. 2 stars for talent. Read more Less

    She sings so perfect. The price is perfect and I love the way she shows such emotion in her lyrics. This is truly the best I've ever heard.

    3 nice songs, rest is unlistenable

    The 3 stars are for "you were meant for me", "foolish games" and "who will save your soul?"The rest of the album is irritating and awful. I returned this CD, only one of 2 times I've ever done that.The 3 songs above are really good good though. So I ...bought the singles. Read more Less

    One of my most favorite albums. When it first came out it was in my CD player non-stop. Except for the nearly-unlistenable Pieces Of You, every song is good, and some are great. Foolish Games is easily my favorite song - so emotional and heart-wre...nching. MUCH better than the awful re-make she did for the single version (and wasn't it in Batman & Robin? Ugh!). I'm Sensitive is a great, simple song too. A few years later now and being more cynical I think some of the lyrics are naive and overly optimisic, but that's not really a bad thing. In fact perhaps more music should be like that... Read more Less
