    Bad Company! Bad Player!

    Pros: Cheap--you get what you pay for

    Cons: Stops working, customer service is horrible and unhelpful!

    I purchased the device in April of 2009. Three days ago (July 2009) the player just stopped working. I was very gentle with the device it has never been dropped or been wet. When I called for tech support they just said "sorry" and told me ...I was out of warranty by a few days. I then insisted to speak with a manager and they said that they don't do that (meaning they don't connect complaining customers to managers unless there is a very good reason--any I wasn't important enough). I argued with many people for a few weeks and then gave up. It is absolutely unacceptable that a device can just stop working after a four months. I found the people I dealt with through customer service very unhelpful and unfriendly. I will never buy another device from Phillips. They're products are cheap for a reason!!!! I searched on the Internet for other reviews and many Phillips devices just stop working for no reason. I'm surprised someone hasn't hit them with a class action law suit! BEWARE!
