Philips DVDR3575H/37
Pros: Nice features including the hard drive and a reasonable price range.
Cons: Poor video quality even on the fastest recording hard drive setting. The tuner lacks resolution even when played back through an HDMI connection. Also, motion blur is increased during hard drive playback. Poor remote design and no key backlight.
I have had this unit four days and I plan to return it. The picture quality isn't very good. Even the HD tuner is a poor match for an LCD HDTV. Save your money unless you are using this recorder matched with a non-digital TV.
