    Phantom of the Opera is a masterpiece. It's one of the best musicals of the past 20 years. And this recording does an amazing job of capturing the magic of the live performance.Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford are incredible. They define the ...roles.     This is one of Andrew Lloyd Webber's most highly acclaimed productions. The two-disc set comes with a booklet that has not only the lyrics, but also the dialog and stage directions. Sarah Brightman appears as Christine Daae (the heroine) and Michael Crawford as the Phantom. It's also available in a one-disc "highlights" version.
