American folk and country music has been imported to New Zealand by singer/guitarist Peter Caulton. A former member of the Country Flyers, Stage Door Trio, and Good News, Caulton performs regularly at local pubs and cruises and has made numerous appearances on such television shows as Country Touch, Happen Inn, and Studio One. Although he continues to perform as a soloist, his past collaborators include the group Rosemary Friends and ex-Bari the Breakaways vocalist Midge Marsden.
