Formed in 1996, the Philadelphia black metal trio PerverserapH consists of members Shaitan (vocals, guitar), Frank Deathunder (drums), and Alex Bouks (bass). The band first appeared on the Slayer tribute album Gateway to Hell, Vol. 2 in 2000, covering the metal classic "Chemical Warfare," before their debut, Namataru, was issued on the World War III label a year later. The group has received favorable reviews in such metal publications as ~Pit Magazine and ~Metal Maniacs.
