    Usually, I (like many of you out there) am a tough critic when someone in hollywood decides to make a beloved classic into a movie. Almost always the job is a dud. However, with this Jane Austen classic, the transformation from book to film is won...derfully done. Bravo to this film! It stayed true to the magic of a Jane Austen romance. Everyone involved to making this movie did a great job. However, the only compaint I had was the DVD featurette. It had none of the things that I think would be enjoyable for DVD viewers. I enjoy watching outtakes or at least the making of the film as well as interviews from the actors. But if that is not important to you, purchasing the film and making it part of your movie library would be well worth it. Read more Less

    BBC does it again!

    Once again the BBC produces a wonderful Jane Austen story! I loved it. The actors chosen for the roles portrayed the characters beautifully! I was truly born in the wrong era!
    If you love Jane Austen you should not miss this one!
