Pros: So small, cute and functional!
Cons: with a large mem card, printing 200+ pictures is a pain, but they look great.
This is the best camera, I have it in my smallest purse concealed in a tin of Altoids. No one knows when I am going to be shooting pictures or offering a mint. Great pic quality and the mini movies with sound are great to send via e-mail or just for viewing a forgotten drunken event. People are amazed at how small it is and what it can actually do. I always get asked where they can get one and if it was expensive. No more than all the others out there, but you can't pop those cameras into a pocket of some snug jeans and try to walk around without pain. Just go buy one and see!
Pros: easy to use and delete photos not wanted
Cons: nickel metal hydride battery
The only fault I find is that the2200mAh AA battery By sunpak does not last to long. I must rercharge often. Otherwise I find the camera easy to use with excellent results. I recommed camera.
Pros: Size, features, ease of use, rechargeability
Cons: flash range, video quality
I have never before had a camera I enjoyed as much as this one. Besides the ever-present WOW factor, is the incredible size that allows me to keep it in my front pocket at all times--even through my trip to Australia. It has very quick response time between shots. The metal body is very solid and the shutter is very secure against dust. I have sold all my friends on this model!
Pros: Portability, Battery life, image quality
Cons: small internal memory, no carry case included
This is a great tiny camera for an amazing price, I purcahsed mine for 240 dollars off ebay new. It is loaded with features, this camera requires some reading in the user manual to get the most out of it. You will be pleased with its picture quality, i have yet to take many pictures outside but i am sure it will do fine! So small so neat!
Pros: Extremely versatile
Cons: none
Just an excellent digital camera overall. Simple, great features, compact and fun to use!
Pros: Super compact, great quality stills and video, sexy little camera
Cons: A few too many little options
My highest priority was finding a digital camera that was small! I hate big, bulky stuff in my purse. After reading some reviews I went ahead and bought it. GREAT quality pictures from this camera. And if you only want to take medium quality small pictures you probably won't even need to use an SD card. I have not bought an SD card yet because I haven't needed it. The battery is rechargable so you won't be buying batteries all the time. I've had it for a few days now and I haven't had to recharge it at all. My suggestion is that you spend just 20 minutes flipping through the instruction manual to get a feel for what types of features it has. It does have a lot of settings that I probably will not use though. No worries, the quality is EXCELLENT and once you see how sexy this little camera looks you'll love it!
Great little camera with excellent features. Easy to learn, quick to use. Very happy with the purchase
I PICKED THE OPTIO S BECAUSE OF THE SMALL SIZE AND IT CAME WITH 128mb CARD FROM WALMART.THE OPTIO TAKES GREAT PICTURES. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE TO SMALL BUT IT IS EASY TO HOLD AND ALL THOSE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE BIG FINGERS USING THE SMALL 4WAY CONTROLLER ARE UNFOUNDED FOR ME, I HAVE BIG FAT FINGERS AND CYCLE THRU IT JUST FINE. IT HAS TURNED OUT TO BE A GREAT CAMERA.
i find this cameraeasy to carryand to operate
bought this from walmart.com and got a 128mg sd card...for $397 this was our first digital camera...and though it is tiny...it is easy to use,pic quality is good and we are happy as amature photo bugs
3x optical zoom, 3.2mp, and compact. What else could you ask for? Picture quality is great. The flash is much brighter than I expected. When I got the camera, I went backpacking for 4 days. I was afraid the battery might not last so I would turn the lcd screen off and use the viewfinder as much as possible. In the coarce of the vacation, I took 70 HQ pictures and 4 30sec movies. I used the viewfinder a little more than I wanted and I still got to use the camera the entire trip. I would have to give the battery life A+.
My friends love the lil camera. It is a great ice breaker in bars. You pull out an Altoids tin and ask them if they want a mint and then show them the camera. It really does work. You should see some of the pictures that we have gotten with this lil babe magnet.
Just bought this camera and took it on a 5 week trip. All the picture taking features/modes, remarkable battery life, video and sound editing/recording features, and durability (wet w/sea water, dropped in sand ect) really impressed me not to mention great quality photos in all lighting conditions. My buddy was carrying around a Canon digital elph which was twice the size (still too big to carry in your pant or shirt pocket on a night out) and his battery kept bogging out every night. Definitely had the Optio ready when needed...
Everything you'll ever want in a dig camera in a small package!
This is excellent. How can this little piece of steel do so much work?
It is wonder.
i think this camera is superb with great picture quality...my hubby adores it and cant sleep without it.
After owning many small APS cameras, I have finally gone digital in favor of saving some money in the long run. I am completely amazed with the quality of all of the features on this camera.
This is a great camera - I wanted small, but feature packed and the Optio S came through! The manual was a bit tough to get through, but after reading through it twice I think I have it figured out. Great photos in a tiny camera - this is what its all about for traveling. I really like this camera!
I bought this camera the first day it was available on the internet, just before a vacation I was planning to take. I paid $450 for the camera, a 64MB SD memory card, battery charger, and camera case.
The camera is the smallest and lightest I have seen, and easily fits in my shirt pocket. The menus are fairly extensive, but there are so many features I cant complain.
I will say that the digital zoom is grainy, but that is how most digital zoom is. Also, the lithium battery life could be longer, but all in all, I would say this is one great point-and-shoot digicam for travelling.
Great feature-packed tiny camera for a traveller like me. Lithium battery superior to NiMH bulky rechargables in my 3.2 MP OLY. But pics very comparable. Optio menus do require some time with the owners manual. And why dont these expensive cameras come with a case; the pretty brushed aluminum face scratches easily. Get the SD memory card, worth the extra money.
very small compact but great clarity and features
