Pell Mell
About Pell Mell
A sort of side-project involving producers and players, Pell Mell recorded for Sub Pop, K Records, and SST (The Bumper Crop and Flow) before releasing their 1995 major-label debut, Interstate, on DGC. Formed by drummer Bob Beerman, organist and effects-man Steve Fisk, bassist and guitarist Greg Freeman, and guitarist Dave Spalding, the band play an atmospheric, echo-laden instrumental-rock. Other releases include 1997's Star City.
