Pascal Obispo

Pascal Obispo
The major French pop star of the mid'90s, Pascal Obispo sold consistently beginning with his 1993 debut, Plus Que Tout Au Monde. Noted arranger JeanClaude Vannier (who had worked with Serge Gainsbourg) helped out on 1995's Un Jour Comme Aujourd'hui, and the album became a platinum success story. With the release of his third LP Superflu (the title is French for "superfluous"), Obispo sold over half a million copies in France alone.
