Pros: The visuals, costumes and Marilyn Manson
Cons: Not enough Marilyn Manson
I rented Party Monster for a second time so I could watch it more intently. The one thing that kept replaying in my head and providing me with chuckles, which subsequently made me go and rent the movie again are the scenes with Marilyn Manson. He/She stole the scenes each and every time. The scene in the basement with the sprinkler's going off and the scene with Marilyn as the truck driver for one of the parties was rich and simply fabulously played to the hilt by Marilyn Manson. Though I'm not sure of how much of that was actually Marilyn and how much was Hollywood. I enjoyed the movie immensely. McCauley Culkin and Seth Green did a bang up job with their portrayals and the costumes that the club kids wear are so damned creative that it's inspirational {almost}! I have never actually been a fan of Marilyn Manson's music as much as I am his persona and devil-may-care attitude but with this movie role, he just may make a full fledged fan out of me yet! Great movie though I probably wouldn't recommend watching it at the frat house or in the company of known homophobes. ...
