Cluboriented pop group Parking Lot Pimp formed in 2004 when producer and songwriter Terry Lee, vocalists Vanessa Fernandez and Trisno Ishak, and multiinstrumentalist Munir Alsagoff left the Singaporebased pop/hiphop combo Urban Xchange. PMP wasted no time either, adding rapper JG (aka Jeremy Green) and debuting in spring 2005 with the single "Blow". The song quickly caught a buzz in the Singapore pop scene and at MTV Asia, and set up the midsummer release of the fulllength Parking Lot Pimp debut, Welcome to Our Frequency.
