Parka Kings
Detroit ska band the Parka Kings consisted not only of the core trio of singer/guitarist Brett E. Warren, bassist Matt "Boose" Van, and drummer Tony Barragan, but also the Reuben Sandwich Horns -- tenor saxophonist Milton Gray, alto saxophonist Brian "Hank" Steinmetz, and trumpeter Doug Woolsey. The group debuted in 1995 with Bienvenidos, followed two years later by 23 Skidoo. The live Where's the Afterparty? appeared in 1999.
