    Cons: It's messy, it overflows on your stove, it's stinky, you'll have wax on you for DAYS!!!

    DO NOT buy this stuff!!!! I've been waxing my legs for years with strips and thought that I might try this "convenient" non-strip way of waxing. IMPOSSIBLE!!! The wax has to be an EXACT temperature for it to work...according to instru...ctions, the " texture of honey"....organic honey, or processed honey? (#1)...if it IS the right temperature, it still does not completely come off....you have to pick at the little pieces that are stuck on your legs, just to find that those little pieces are now stuck under your fingernails!!! (#2)....IF you happen to leave the wax on just a smidgen too long, you are now yanking chunks of wax off of your legs (#3) (yeah, they come off in little hard chunks!)..finally, when you decide to wax your legs on a beautiful afternoon and the melted wax on your stove overflows (because when solid goes to liquid, it OVERFLOWS WHEN YOU PACKAGE THE WAX TO THE BRIM) you're stove smokes with wax every time you turn it on, and stinks up the entire house....once again....do not buy this crap....it SUCKS!!!!     Pros: quick, simple, clean

    Cons: little room for failure; wax cools quickly

    The instructions specifically said not to completely melt the wax, but to melt it half way, remove, then stir. I did this and I had no overflowing problems. It melted in about 2 minutes on a gas stove. I did my underarms. On my first strip, I applied... it thinly and I did have trouble taking the whole piece off in just one swipe, I took it off in clumps. Taking the piece off in clumps took a lot of time and patience, so I suggest practicing on an easy place to get a gist of how much to apply and how long to wait for it to cool, then rip. After my first application of about 2 inches, I applied the wax more generously, blew on it to cool it, and pulled - it all came off perfectly. I didn't like that I had to re-warm the wax every 15 minutes, but it wasn't too inconvenient for me considering I was saving a LOT of money by not going to a salon. I waxed both underarms successfully and only used about 15% of the product. After I was finished, I reheated it and just let it cool so that I could put it back in the box cleanly.Now that I am satisfied with this product, I might invest in a wax warmer so that I could avoid trips to the kitchen. I rate this 4 stars because the strip-free wax my salon uses is better, but I just don't know what brand they use. I would give it 5 stars if the wax left a larger margin for error. Read more Less
