    Steve Martin heads up an all star cast in this hilarious film about the trials and tribulations involved in being a family. Not only is it absolutley hilarious and full of witt and charm, it really made me identify with my own siblings and parents. ...     Funny truisms about family life

    This is one of my favorite movies and has been; even before I had children. It portrays the ups and downs of family life and illustrates the point that while no family is perfect; we still all love each other anyway. It's a must see for anyone who h...as had family difficulties; it puts those "little" disagreements into perspective and shows what is really important. After I had my daughter, I could relate to the various parents portrayed even more. If you need a good clean laugh, I highly recommend it. Every time I watch it, I catch something else that I missed.
