, January 23, 2000Reviewer: Lance - See all Lance's reviewsThese speakers are incredible. Replacing my Paradigm 3SE MSK's was a tough task for me as I looked for a speaker that offered top notch quality for the dollar and came right back to Paradigm. These speakers have such a neutral and full bodied soundstage that I find it very hard to believe any speaker, even up to three times the price could match. Any music, whether orchestral or rock, just sounds the way you expect your music to sound and at times, even exceeds your expectations. I use the Monitor 9's with the Paradigm PDR-10 powered sub and it simply "Rocks". The subwoofer may not even be necessary but any added bass is welcome so it was retained. Before buying any floor standing speaker, it would be foolish not to give these a try. ... -
