Pros: excellent picture, loaded with features

Cons: sound is good, but not outstanding; i use a home theatre system

I compared this t.v. with the one with 720 resolution and couldn't tell much difference unless up close, but I purchased an "upconverting" dvd player so thought i'd take advantage of the 1080. This t.v. has a truly outstanding pictu...re....especially when the room is dark. Sometimes i view it with plantation shutters open and there is no glare. I had read where some have said that an lcd is better because of glare on these, but they must have a spotlight on it! The sound is ok, but I hooked up an inexpensive Sony surround sound system and of course the sound is much improved. The price is right on this t.v. and you shouldn't have to worry about ghosting because of the built in guards against this. Also, according to Panasonic's web site, you should leave the picture setting on zero for the 1st 100 hours to further safe-guard it. A great tv at a reasonable price! Read more Less
