    Pros: Cheap, efficient. Perfect for sports/DVDs

    Cons: New, so issues may come up.

    Very cost efficient tv, works well with an upconverter dvd player and preferrably hdmi output for tv. '09 TV so configuration settings not available yet, looks good even with analog signal, great for sports and movies when u dont wanna spend too ...much money. Also very easy to setup; Panasonic is very reliable and I wouldrecommend this over most 1080 tvs evenn if the price was the same. Read more Less

    Pros: Vivid color and dark blacks

    Cons: Very average speakers

    Even though it's a 720p model you won't be able to tell in a 42" screen. I've compared them at the store. My brother wife demanded they buy a $4k LCD TV and it doesn't look anywhere as near as good this...Is that crazy or what? P...lasmas still beats LCD on viewing angle. You can be at almost any angle and the picture is clear as can be. This TV is also one of the best to upconvert old TV signals at 480i that I have seen. It also downconverts 1080 very well. Everything looks great. An awesome deal! Oh, the speakers are kinda sucky....very tinny but if you turn the 'bass' on they are good enough. Read more Less

    Pros: No worries about refresh rates for sports. Easy set up.

    Cons: Works best in darker room

    We found this at Best Buy on sale for $695 and couldn't wait to get it home. Easy set up, great picture. Perfect for the bedroom where reflections are minimal. At 42" no need for the 1080 version. 720 is crisp and clear, perfect for sports a...nd movies. Read more Less
