The size of this camera is perfect, the design has been carefully thought out, & the features are the best for the price. Low light recording is a little slow, but I had the same problem -w- my Sony "it was very grainy". My Sony does have ...a nightshot, but I find it useless since it records in green. I'm convinced, that is an area that digital cameras have difficulties with. The magic pix feature works extremely well if the camera is on a tri-pod, or held very still. The colors are very radiant in the magic pix mode. RESULT - If you want the features of the Sony but better reliability, for about 10 to 15% cheaper panasonic products should be your only choice.
