    Pros: Can be customised and backed up to a PC

    Cons: Not all customisations can be backed up, some bugs

    Several drawbacks in an otherwise perfect phone. 1. Talking caller ID should announce the name stored in the phonebook, not what comes in from the phone company - this behaviour is inconsistent with the caller information pulled from the phonebook. ... 2. The Ringer ID, Light Up ID, Picture ID and Custom Ringer settings cannot be assigned via the software, nor backed up, restored or transferred to another handset. 3. The USB connection cannot be plugged in while the phone is being charged - it is also physically impossible to do so. Given the USB connection sucks considerable battery power, this should be possible. The USB should instead plug in to the base/charger so the phone is instantly connected (like a PDA) once docked, with two-way synchronisation. 4. It is possible (as I learnt the hard way) to inadvertently wipe out the existing phone book and all its painstakingly fed Ringer ID, Light Up ID, Picture ID and Custom Ringer settings merely by attempting to add new entr Read more Less
