    Picture Quality Not So Great

    Pros: swivel screen, long battery life

    Cons: picture quality

    After reviewing some of the reviews on the internet and generally good postings from those who have purchased this product, I went to Best Buy to buy this portable DVD player. However, the picture quality wasn't nearly as good as almost every oth...er competitor displayed beside it, and I concluded that the display model had to be defective. So I went to Circuit City to look at the display model again and to my dismay, the screen image was just the same. It's fine, but clearly inferior to its rivals, even the much cheaper ones.     Panasonic DVD LS90 is Superior but not Perfect!

    Pros: Excellent Image Quality, Swivel Screen, Good Battery

    Cons: Got an error and malfunction on slight use, Not durable; No component out.

    The Panasonic DVD LS90 portable DVD player could have been the best portable DVD in my possession. My sister who worked in Florida gave it to me as a gift, and I was totally amazed. I watched Springbreak Shark Attack and the display was excellent. I ...also find pleasing the swivel screen which can be adjusted to your eye position. Pretty nice with few exceptions--- can't find component out to display the movie on 29-inch Color Flat-TV, and it bogged down with slight usage. Got an error... reinitialized it with failure. I have to bring it to the Panasonic Service Center in Mandaue City. I think the problem was it won't spin at all. It got fixed after 10 days and it's well and good until now. It's been close to six months since I brought it for repair. The servicemen said that it was dvd malfunction that could not be attributed to mishandling--- it can occur spontaneously. It's a good product really.... only that it gave me that trouble of bringing it to the Service Center despite slight usage. Read more Less
