Pros: Quality
Cons: Battery Life
The picture and features are about as good as you could ever want in a portable. After 3 years I still have not seen one as good. If there is any negative it is the battery life. All things consider I would say its worth the trade off.
Pros: all round quality
Cons: battery life
Superior portable DVD player. Plays everything except SVCD's. Fairly pricey ($100) for the long life battery which is a must have for useful viewing time. However, superb picture and sound, especially when linking up to surround sound system or with a decent set of headphones on the move. Good value for money little unit.
Good product, that I wish I had
I think this is a really good dvd portable player!~
For Christmas i recieved both the Samsung L100 and the LA 95 & eventhough the picture is bigger on the L100 the sound didnt come close to the panasonic it has the best sound & an excellent picture i recommend the LA 95 to anyone who is looking for the best quality eventhough it may be older & smaller than others
i would like to know if panas dvd-la95 multiregion
Even though this is no longer a really new model it still beats the rest. Dont be fooled by just looking at each players display specs, when you compare you will see that this machines picture quality is like nothing else. The small-included battery is only good for about 2 hours but you can upgrade to the extended unit and be good for three movies without a recharge. I love mine
Unlike some of the other units I shopped around for, the Panasonic has the battery built into the small unit. Really a superior design.
I really love this portable, with the jog circular pad, it makes finding any portion of the DVD movie so easy.
The resume function even works, when the set is unplugged and moved around, now I can enjoy movies anywhere and anytime, not worrying about where I left off.
The blue led is really unique and can be turned off. The 9" screen is the best I have seen on any portable and no other come close in picture quality.
Panasonic were the pioneers in the portable home cinema field and it certainly shows in this product.
The Panasonic LA95 by far is the best portable DVD on the market. It plays every media type imaginable and the 9" screen is incredible. Both the Toshiba 1500 and the LA95 have excellent picture quality. The sound is great in the LA95 for such a small unit. I think the optional battery is a must for useful viewing time, but it is well worth it. The biggest problem with the Panasonic LA95 is finding it in stock anywhere. I ordered mine from the US Virgin Islands, found a store there recently on a cruise that had several. After endless attempts at every dealer on Yahoo, most merchants were rude, didn't have it in stock although their website claimed to.
Paid an excellent price too. Received it in one day via insured air mail. All in all an excellent electronics toy.
