    A Glowing Gem!

Palm m130 is a really cool and useful gadget to have! The screen is awesome, it is bright, easily legible even in day light. 8mb of installed memroy is a good deal for the price with of course an expansion slot. Palm OS rulez, it is very easy and use...r friendly. I hald Palm m100 and this of course is a major change for me. But I know useres who shifted to Palm m130 after having used Palm m515. They say that the screen quality is better. I use my palm to store tons of medical information and huge drug database. It never fails. I have 32 MB SD card, a bluetooth card and games pack card. There cards are very easy to install and use. With the bluetooth I can easily connect to my notebook and phone. Another good factor is the universal palm connector which makes it easy to be used with Palm modem and keyboard. The down sides... firstly the cardle is a little bulky to carry around with. If you are buying Palm, I do recommend a USB Syn and Charger Cable from Belkin. It is a simple cable with which you can both charge and sync. your palm. The car lighter adapter that comes with the cable is an added plus for on the go users. The second down side is the battery. The bright colored screen tends to use up quite a bit of battery. So do keep features like beam recieve off and auto off on. Needs daily charging, duration depeding upon the use. Palm had initially marketed it claiming it to have 65,000 colors. It is not true, however even with 58,000 odd colors it is a glowing gem! Go for it. Read more Less

    Great value

I'm a long-time Palm user, and overall I'm very pleased with the M130. The color screen is very bright and sharp, which was one of my main reasons for buying it. The one drawback is the "refresh rate" - games or other apps with a lot of movement don'...t work very well because the images "smear." This is why I give it 4 stars. I'm not sure, but the M515 may not have this same problem - I think it uses different LCD technology - although it's quite a bit more expensive. The other features I wanted were: built-in rechargeable battery, USB synchronization, and removable memory...all of which the M130 has. I also purchased the Palm foldable keyboard, for times when I'm tired of Graffiti.Other than that, I have no complaints. It's small but durable, and has worked great for a few months now. I would recommend the M130 for someone looking for a cost-effective color handheld.FYI - I don't work for Palm - I just like my M130! - Nick Read more Less

Like its lower-end siblings, it sports a curvy case, an interchangeable color faceplate, and a rubberized flip-down cover with a window for displaying the time.
