With a bluetooth phone this thing rocks.

Pros: bluetooth, Web Pro browser, SMS, VersaMail, screen, 32 MB, camera

Cons: paint probs (on some), crappy camera

GET THIS PDA IF YOU ARE SHOPPING FOR ONE. I own a ton of PDAs (an addict) and I can't tell you how much fun this one is. The screen is amazing (as good as their Zire 71), the 32 MB RAM is great (lotsa storage for a Palm box), and the built in sof...tware is amazing. Documents to Go, SDIO, Versamail, Web Pro, SMS, the new datebook. This baby has it all. The only other Palm-based PDAs that compare are the Tungsten T3, the Sony Clie TH-55, and the Treo 600. Setting up the Web access is a pain but if you can figure it out you feel like a free spirit. I really must commend Palm for creating this great little device. I'm still exploring the real worth of PDAs outside the address book and some freeware games. Hopefully I'll figure out how to get movies on here courtesy of mmplayer and some free encoders (currently a total P.I.A. even with www.doom9.org's help). Oh yea, the 1.2 megapixel camera is more novelty than feature; the quality is horrendous. But as with all things horrid, someone out there with an artistic eye will no doubt figure out how to capitalize on it. In other words, ART photos, not snapshots. Read more Less

    PalmOne Zire 72

With its bright, transflective color display, a 1.2-megapixel camera, and a built-in MP3 player, this PDA is as much an entertainment device as a business tool.PalmOne's $299 Zire 72 was obviously the brainchild of a committee in which everybody got what they suggested. The slim, royal blue-and-silver device is so jam-packed with hardware and software features that it's the PDA for all reasons. For business, there are the usual Palm organizing apps, plus DataViz's Documents to Go for viewing and editing Microsoft Office documents and spreadsheets, Adobe Acrobat viewer for Palm, and other apps for recording voice memos and accessing the Web and e-mail. For leisure pursuits, there's a built-in camera that takes photos and videos with sound, plus a RealOne MP3 player and stereo headphone jack. Read more
